Nachi Game Studios is an indie game studio with only a handful of people from different nations creating pc games inspired by Japanese culture. The idea was to create a logo that inspired both cuteness and fear. The souls on the game’s text logo were intended to appear crookedly imperfect.
At first, I settled for a more Kawaii-monster aesthetic, wherein majority of the face was meant to look cute and appealing whereas the teeth were shark-like on one side, suggesting the existence of a more intimidating final form. The client, had something else in mind, however.
The client wanted a face with stereotypical “Yandere” features, so I came up with the above logo.
Still, the client liked both versions of the face.
